The Technician Development Program is a partnership between OnSite Dealer Solutions, Oklahoma Technical College and Bill Knight Automotive to help Veterans start careers as automotive technicians. Participants work and earn money at OnSite during the day and take evening classes at OTC, which accepts GI Bill® benefits for eligible Veterans.
Halfway through the program, they can start at Bill Knight Auto as entry-level Lube Technicians, then move up to Technician Apprentice after graduating from OTC. Work schedules are built around class schedules so participants can keep studying while gaining hands-on dealership experience.
And, to really help students take the next step, Bill Knight Auto also gives each participant a $3,000 starter toolbox and toolset to launch their career (eligibility requirements apply).
